The city’s edges rebels. Common outfits

Uchuka-kuna, which translates to “mice” is a personal project inspired by my ecuadorian heritage.

In Ecuador, filmmaking has become a new form of sacred ceremony. When the city uncovers this power, it strictly bans the creation and screening of any audiovisual work. Artists, musicians, and filmmakers are exiled alongside traditional shamans, while the urban center profits from transforming the country’s folklore and culture into a product. In this climate of resistance, a movement is born—determined to restore Ecuador’s shared memory.

A dancer, a musician, and a mechanic, all deeply in love with their culture. Exiled to the city’s outskirts, they reinterpret tradition in their own style.
