Citadel’s Leader and his ace
Uchuka-kuna, which translates to “mice” is a personal project inspired by my ecuadorian heritage.
In Ecuador, filmmaking has become a new form of sacred ceremony. When the city uncovers this power, it strictly bans the creation and screening of any audiovisual work. Artists, musicians, and filmmakers are exiled alongside traditional shamans, while the urban center profits from transforming the country’s folklore and culture into a product. In this climate of resistance, a movement is born—determined to restore Ecuador’s shared memory.
A director, a boom operator and a camera operator form a team determined to bring cinema back to the citadel. In order to keep the people under control, the citadel's President will use his ace, his best-seller alpaca.
